| The Upper House ( main
Villa ) The main Villa with hall, lounge, bedroom, kitchen and its thick walls
and panoramic windows was completely renovated and refurbished 1987 - 1992, it´s
living space extendend to a total of 300 m² ( 360 sqy.) The flooring
consist of handmade Valencian terracotta tiles waxed to a brown finish. The tiles
are unique on Lanzarote and a tribute to the historical Spanish art of flooring
and used for the entire interior and exterior floorings. Windows and doors
were projected, handmade and installed by Swiss specialists using honey - coloured
limewood and hinges made from stainless steel to prevent shrinking and leaky spots
. Vitrification is triple 4mm safety glass ... Experts will notice the differences
to local building habits . The whole housing technology, regarding electricity,
water heating, alternative energies and fireplaces was implemented by Swiss experts
. The Hall The hall is entered through an solid wooden, double
- leafed door with security features. The headway is about 4 meters ( 12 ft )
, with skylight. An antique bench, art-design chairs from Madrid, mosaics and
plants warmly welcome the inhabitant .From here, two arcs are leading to the lounge,
two wooden doors to the room adjoining the kitchen and the guest toilet and a
double leaf one to the patio. The Lounge Mentioned above, the
Swiss - made panoramic windows, that would not be approved anymore by the Spanish
authorities nowadays because of their size, make this room a sunflushed place
with impecable views across the western coast and the Atlantic .Two cosy arm chairs
and a comfortable sofa invite to relax and enjoy the sunset. An open fireplace,
custom made from a swiss specialist, with heated bench is giving warmth at the
rare cooler days. A television with satellite programs and a bar - trolley provide
entertainment and `spiritual´ refreshment, 6 original paintings of Tayo
grace the walls. One door leads to the guestroom, a double-leafed glassdoor to
the huge veranda. The harmony of colours between the walls, the terracotta floorings
and the wooden frames and doors is highly impressive. The Kitchen The kitchen can be reached through a large alley
from the lounge. It possesses a discreet door to the back entry and a separate,
spacious adjoining stock room. It is fully fitted and equipped to the highest
standards with free hanging hood, vitroceramic hob, 2 gas cookers, grill, deep
fat fryer, oven, microwave, fridge and separate deep freezer. All equipment is
by Miele, a dream come true for the ambitious cook ! Adjoining Stock
Room A working room with dishwasher ( Miele ) , worktops and floor units,
a hatch to the kitchen, windows towards the crater and a door to the hall.
Back Entry A small room with doors to the backyard and the washhouse.
The back side of the upper house can be delivered by car, so heavy goods can be
uncharged directly at the back entry. The Guest Toilet A wooden
door from the hall leads to the guest toilet.The room has a window overlooking
the crater. It features a basin fittet in a niche clad in natural stones and nicely
illuminated from above . The En Suite Bedroom This bedroom comprises of a foldaway
bed, a cosy sofa, a basket table with two matching armchairs and a double wardrobe.
The bathroom with skylight and shower has a washstand with floor unit and a big
mirror. While taking a shower, you can enjoy the seaview throught two windows.
The bedroom has a window and a door towards the terrace. The Patio (
inner courtyard ) From the hall you step throught a round paned door into
the Patio, which is not visible from outside. A nicely grow Ficus Benjamini, a
fountain with an antique bench and a roofed round invite to linger. Five paned
double doors lead to the adjoined rooms. The Office Flushed
with light and with beautiful views across the Atlantic, the office with 4 m headroom
possesses a custom made wooden ceiling above a big antique writing table with
thick glass top and casted iron legs. Further diverse chairs, a rocking chair
and a fitted library cupboard. The office is equipped with a Canon photocopy machine,
HP Vectra - PC with big EIZO monitor and a flipchart. A original painting by Kolitscher
and a sound system complete this exceptional workspace. Living- / Bedroom with fireplace Passing throught a double
glass door, first the livingroom is entered with its 4, 5 m cupboard, finished
in white varnish, a big desk, glass topped table and chairs. A big window offers
fantastic sea views again. The adjoined bedroom is reached throught an arc. It
comprises of a double bed, a big wardrobe, a Swedish fireplace an two windows,
one overlooking the sea, the second has views to the fire mountains. Gym
Access to the gym is throught a door from the patio. The gym is equipped with
wall bars, a punching ball and a machine for body building. A massage couch is
at disposal and one door is leading to the bathroom. From the window the firemountains
can be overlooked. The Main Bathroom Double bathtub, loads of plants and candlesticks
together with panoramic windows and unspoiled views of the firemountains make
this place especially romantic. Two washing stands with big mirrors and floor
units. One of the two fitted lockers hides the 500 litres boiler. A door is leading
to the dressing room . The Dressing Room A small niche with
skylight, three sides fitted with wardrobes finished in white varnish, one side
totally mirrored. One door leads to toilet and shower another one to the living-
/ bedroom. Toilet and shower Toilet, washing stand with floor
unit and small drop-like shaped mirrors at the wall. A round shower basin, measuring
2 m in diameter with a big skylight and three shower heads. Two high windows with

A real special place to have a cheerful drink with good friends ! With clay
floor, rustic stonewalls, a carved door, illumination and water the bodega is
big enough to store winebarrels, bottles , vegetables and fruit in perfect climatic
conditions. The Rear Driveway Approx 250m² completely sealed with
paving tiles. Turning area for cars and direct acces to the rear entrance, washhouse,
bodega and the water reservoirs ( aljibes ) with the pump station. Alleyway up
the small crater with the vegetable garden, the fruit hill and the big volcanic
